What is Community Care Collective?
Community Care Collective is a daily support program in Melbourne offering fun, inclusive and challenging group programs.
Are Community Care Collective support workers background checked?
All of our support workers are subject to a police record check and working with childrens check, as per federal government regulations. We also regularly upskill our staff in first aid, CPR along with industry specific training.
Is there a minimum number of days/hours I have to attend?
There are no minimum number of days you need to attend if booking month to month
We charge a standard day for group activities attended
Support
What does Community Care Collective cost?
We charge industry standardised NDIS rates as per level of support required. It is best to get in touch with our team for specific information.
What kinds of support are provided?
We provide a range of supports including:
- Social group programs
- Weekend adventures
- Weekend/School holiday multiple night stays
- 1:1 capacity building support
How do I pay for my support?
Community Care Collective issues fortnightly invoices which either go to yourself (self managed) or your plan-manager (plan managed). This covers your time with CCC and your support workers during that time.
Activity and entry fees are privately reimbursed by families fortnightly (costs are advertised on our monthly send out to ccc families)
Does Community Care Collective provide transport?
Participants are dropped off/collected from our venue in Thomastown at the start and end of the day.
Community Care Collective has numerous vehicles which we use to transport participants to and from activities. We vary between travelling in company cars and using transport on our group programs. We ask that participants bring a topped of Myki to be prepared for all kinds of days with CCC.
